1. Sauté onion in butter until tender. Add flour and stir.
2. Slowly add broth. With whisk stir in pumpkin, brown sugar, salt, pepper and nutmeg until smooth.
3. Heat to boiling. Reduce heat and simmer five minutes.
4. Stir in milk and cook until heated through.
5. Serve with roasted pumpkin seeds (available in many grocery stores.)
