Stir-fry Vegetable Medley

Ingredients
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 1/4 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 medium carrot, cut into matchstick strips
  • 1 celery rib, cut into matchstick strips
  • 1 small onion, sliced thin
  • 1 small bunch broccoli, separated into small pieces
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 1/4 pound large mushrooms, quartered
Directions
  • 1. Heat oil in skillet. Stir-fry carrot, celery, onion and broccoli (about 4 minutes.)
  • 2. Add mushrooms, water, salt and sugar.
  • 3. Cover and cook 5 minutes until crisp tender, stirring occasionally.
