1. In large skillet, sauté rice, garlic, onion and green pepper in hot oil until rice is lightly browned.
2. Add chicken broth, crushed tomatoes, taco seasoning mix and fresh tomatoes. Simmer until liquid is absorbed and rice is tender, about 25 minutes.
