Monterey Chicken Croissants

Ingredients
  • 4 chicken breast halves
  • 2 cups bottled ranch dressing
  • 2 slices Monterey Jack cheese
  • 1/2 ripe avocado, sliced
  • 1 tomato, sliced
  • 4 large croissants
Directions
  • 1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
  • 2. Place chicken breasts in roasting pan. * Cover with ranch dressing and bake, covered, for 2 1/2 hours.
  • 3. Slice croissants. Place a chicken breast and cheese slice on each croissant.
  • 4. Top with tomato and avocado. Spoon ranch dressing on if desired.

  • Serves 4
Tips

*Cook chicken in crock pot on low for 2 to 3 hours until tender. Or, cook chicken in covered skillet on stovetop at medium heat until chicken is tender.
