BBQ Pork Sandwiches

Ingredients
  • 1 1/2 pounds boneless pork ribs
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 1/2 cups or 1 bottle home made BBQ sauce or favorite store bought BBQ sauce
  • 4 large seeded buns
Directions
  • 1. Season meat with salt and pepper.
  • 2. Place in baking pan and seal tightly with foil.
  • 3. Bake 325 degrees 3 hours, or until tender enough to shred with a fork.
  • 4. After shredding meat, drain and add to sauce.
  • 5. Serve on seeded buns.

BBQ Sauce
Ingredients
  • 1/4 cup onion, finely diced
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon liquid smoke
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon cumin powder
  • 1/2 tablespoon white vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
Directions
  • 1. In saucepan, sauté onion in melted butter.
  • 2. Add all other ingredients. Simmer about 5 minutes.
