Platter Salad

Ingredients
  • 1/4 head red leaf lettuce
  • 1/4 head green leaf lettuce
  • 1/4 head iceberg lettuce
  • 1/4 pound bacon
  • 1/4 cup Mozzarella cheese
  • 4 ounces cottage cheese
  • Purple onion slices for garnish
  • Poppy seed dressing
Directions
  • 1. Line a plate or platter with red and green leaf lettuce.
  • 2. Break up remaining leaf lettuce and iceberg lettuce. Place over lettuce leaves on platter.
  • 3. Fry bacon until crisp and drain on paper towels. Break into pieces.
  • 4. Scatter bacon pieces, mozzarella cheese and cottage cheese over lettuce. Arrange slices of purple onion over top.
  • 5. Serve with dressing.

Poppy Seed Dressing
Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 tablespoon poppy seeds
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons white vinegar
Directions
  • Whisk all ingredients together. Chill.
