1. Line a plate or platter with red and green leaf lettuce.
2. Break up remaining leaf lettuce and iceberg lettuce. Place over lettuce leaves on platter.
3. Fry bacon until crisp and drain on paper towels. Break into pieces.
4. Scatter bacon pieces, mozzarella cheese and cottage cheese over lettuce. Arrange slices of purple onion over top.
5. Serve with dressing.
