Shrimp Teriyaki Grill

Ingredients
  • large shrimp
Directions
  • 1. Use cleaned, de-veined shrimp and thread on wooden skewers which have been soaked in water or on metal skewers.
  • 2. Grill until browned, brushing each side several times with Teriyaki Sauce.
Teriyaki Sauce
Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 2 cups cold water
  • 2 cups cornstarch
Directions
  • 1. In saucepan, combine sugar, soy sauce, cold water and cornstarch. Stir to dissolve sugar. Cook on medium heat until mixture comes to a boil and is thickened, about 2 minutes.
  • 2. Serve with grilled chicken, pork or seafood.
Servings
  • Makes 2 cups
Tips

Variation: For Oriental flavor, add ¼ teaspoon crushed garlic and 1/8 teaspoon crushed ginger.
