Salmon or Halibut Teriyaki Grill

Ingredients
  • salmon or halibut fillets
Directions
  • 1. Sprinkle lightly with dill and lemon pepper if desired.
  • 2. Grill or broil until fish flakes with a fork.
  • 3. Brush with Teriyaki Sauce the last few minutes of grilling or after removing from heat.
Teriyaki Sauce
Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 2 cups cold water
  • 2 cups cornstarch
Directions
  • 1. In saucepan, combine sugar, soy sauce, cold water and cornstarch. Stir to dissolve sugar. Cook on medium heat until mixture comes to a boil and is thickened, about 2 minutes.
  • 2. Serve with grilled chicken, pork or seafood.
Servings
  • Makes 2 cups
Tips

Variation: For Oriental flavor, add ¼ teaspoon crushed garlic and 1/8 teaspoon crushed ginger.
