Mexican Haystacks

Ingredients
  • 1 1/2 pounds ground beef
  • 1 (15 ounce) can refried beans
  • 1 (10 3/4 ounce) can cream of mushroom soup*
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
  • 1 envelope taco seasoning mix
  • 1 bag tortilla chips
Directions
  • 1. In large saucepan, brown ground beef and drain grease.
  • 2. Add refried beans, soup, water, tomato sauce and taco seasoning mix. Mix well. Simmer 15 minutes.
  • 3. Serve over chips. Add Toppings.

Tips

*Substitute low fat or low sodium soup, if desired.

Toppings: Shredded lettuce; Chopped tomato; Sliced olives; Salsa; Sour cream; Grated cheese; Green onion; Guacamole
