Chocolate Dessert

Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped nuts
  • 1/4 cup cold butter
  • 1/2 pint whipping cream
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 (3.5 ounce) chocolate pudding/pie mix
  • whipped cream (reserved)
  • 1/4 cup milk chocolate, grated
Directions
  • 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • 2. In mixing bowl, combine flour and nuts.
  • 3. Cut in butter with pastry blender. Press into 8" square baking dish. Bake 15 minutes. Cool completely.
  • 4. With mixer, beat cream until thickened. Add 1/4 cup sugar and continue to beat until peaks form.
  • 5. Combine powdered sugar and cream cheese. Fold in half whipped cream. Reserve other half for Topping.
  • 6. Spread over crust. Refrigerate until filling is cooled.
  • 7. Prepare according to pie directions on package. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate until chilled or use instant chocolate pudding mix.
  • 8. Spread over cream cheese mixture.
  • 9. Spread reserved whipped cream over pie filling and top with grated chocolate. Refrigerate until serving time.
