3. In another bowl, combine flour, salt and baking powder. Add gradually to creamed mixture. Mix well. Refrigerate 1 hour.
4. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
5. Place dough on floured board. Roll 1/4" to 1/2" thick (1/2" for softer cookies). Cut into shapes with cookie cutters.
6. Place on an ungreased cookie sheet or cookie sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until center is set and not doughy.
7. Cool. Decorate with buttercream frosting or cookie glaze.
