1. Combine milk, butter, ¼ cup sugar and salt in mixing bowl.
2. In a small bowl, sprinkle yeast over warm water. Let stand until dissolved, about 5 minutes. Add to milk mixture.
3. Add 2 1/4 cups flour and beat well. Blend in eggs. Add enough remaining flour to make soft dough. Knead about 10 minutes.
4. Place dough in greased bowl. Cover with clean kitchen cloth and let rise 1 hour or until almost double.
5. Grease 2 (8 1/2 "x 4 1/2 ") loaf pans.
6. Divide dough in half. Roll each half in 1/4" thick rectangle. Brush with melted butter. Mix 3 tablespoons sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle over butter.
7. Roll, jelly roll style, starting at narrow end. Pinch and seal seams well with wet fingers (If seams are not tightly sealed, bread will bulge on side and filling will escape.)
8. Place loaves seam side down in prepared pans. Cover and let rise to double, about 1 hour. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
9. Bake loaves 30 minutes. Drizzle or spread glaze over warm bread.
