1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Grease 9"x 5" loaf pan or 8"x8" square pan.
2. Combine warm milk and bread cubes in prepared pan.
3. In a mixing bowl, combine sugar, nutmeg, cinnamon and vanilla. Add raisins. Stir in eggs until well blended.
4. Pour egg mixture over bread mixture in pan and toss in lightly with fork.
5. Bake until firm and puffed, about 30 minutes.
6. Remove from oven and let sit for 10 minutes (It is normal for the bread pudding to collapse as it cools.)
7. Serve warm with sauce.

3. Pour over bread pudding while still hot.
