1. in small bowl, sprinkle yeast over warm water. Let stand until yeast is dissolved, about 5 minutes.
2. In mixer bowl, combine hot water, sugar, salt and oil. Let stand to lukewarm.
3. Add dissolved yeast and 1 1/2 cups of the flour. Beat until smooth. Add remaining flour to make soft dough that can be stirred down with a spoon.
4. Place in greased bowl and cover with clean kitchen cloth. With spoon, stir down every 15 minutes for a total of three times.
5. Divide dough into fourths.
6. Roll each into 8" x 8" square.
7. With pizza cutter, cut each square into fourths.
8. Deep fry in hot oil (375 degrees) until golden brown.
9. Serve with choice of butter.

Honey Butter

2. If stronger honey flavor is desired, add additional honey
Tips
Refrigerate butter. Before serving, remove from refrigerator and let sit to room temperature or until spreadable.

Directions
1. Mix Honey Butter.
2. Add 1/8 teaspoon cinnamon and 1/8 teaspoon vanilla extract
Orange Honey Butter

1. Mix Honey Butter
2. Add 2 teaspoons orange juice and 1 tablespoon grated orange rind.
