1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour 2 (8 1/2"x 4 1/2") loaf pans or 16 miniature (3 1/2"x 2 1/2").
2. In a bowl, combine flour, salt and baking powder. Set aside.
3. In a large mixing bowl, mix oil, vanilla, almond and sugar. Stir in sour cream. Mix well.
4. Add eggs, stirring until blended. Mix in milk, butter flavoring and poppy seeds.
5. Gradually stir in flour mixture until well blended. Spoon into prepared pans.
6. Bake large loaves approximately 1 hour and miniature loaves 20 minutes or until set in center and lightly browned on edges.
7. Cool in pan 5 minutes. Loosen edges and poke holes in top of bread with a fork.
8. Remove from pan and place on cooling rack set over large cookie sheet. Spoon glaze over warm bread.
