1. Mix all ingredients, except dry ice, in a punch bowl or large salad bowl.
2. Using a hammer or meat tenderizer, break dry ice into large chunks while it is still in a paper bag. Wear oven mitts to drop the dry ice into the root beer.
3. Stir every five minutes until most of the dry ice is melted. It takes about 30 minutes for root beer to carbonate.
4. Serve immediately.
