Meatballs

Ingredients
  • 1 1/2 pounds lean ground beef
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion, minced
  • 1 cup crackers, finely crushed or seasoned bread crumbs
  • 1 egg
Directions
  • 1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Line cookie sheet with foil.
  • 2. Mix all ingredients. Roll into 1" meatballs and bake 15 to 20 minutes.
  • 3. Serve with barbecue sauce or sweet and sour sauce.

Barbecue Sauce
Ingredients
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon liquid smoke flavor
Directions
  • Combine all ingredients and brush on cooked meatballs. Heat through.
Sweet and Sour Sauce
Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup white vinegar
  • 2/3 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
Directions
  • 1. Cook sugar, vinegar, water and cornstarch until thickened, stirring constantly.
  • 2. Remove from heat and add ketchup.
